1. About the organiser
Rainbow Run 2026 is organised by Friends of Coltishall Primary School (FoCPS), a registered charity (no. 1032384), run by volunteers to support the school community.
Throughout these terms, “FoCPS”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the charity and its trustees, volunteers and representatives.
By registering for or attending the event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Event overview
Rainbow Run 2026 is a family-friendly, community fundraising event taking place on Sunday 7 June 2026 in Coltishall.
Participants may run, jog or walk the route. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
3. Registration and entry

All participants must be registered in advance and hold a valid ticket

Entry is personal to the participant and may not be resold or transferred without permission

FoCPS reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants where necessary for safety or conduct reasons
4. Check-in and ticketing

All participants must check in between 9.30am and 10.30am

A valid QR code ticket must be presented for each participant

Tickets can be shown via the Race Nation app or printed

It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure they can access their ticket
5. Children and supervision

All children under 11 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times

There must be no more than three children under 11 per supervising adult

Children aged 11 and over may take part unaccompanied with parental consent

Parents and guardians remain responsible for children at all times
6. Links and third-party services
Participants take part at their own risk.
By taking part, you confirm that:

You, and any child in your care, are fit and able to participate

You have considered any medical conditions, allergies, asthma, injuries or sensitivities
FoCPS does not provide medical assessment and is not responsible for determining participant fitness.
7. Liability
Coloured powder will be used during the event.
The powder is:

Non-toxic

Designed for colour run events
However:

It may cause irritation for some individuals

It may affect those with asthma, allergies or sensitivities

It may cause discomfort to eyes, skin or airways
Participants take part at their own discretion and may wear protective eyewear or coverings if preferred.
FoCPS accepts no liability for reactions to colour powder except where required by law.
8. Clothing and personal property

Participants should wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activity

Colour powder may stain clothing, footwear, hair and accessories

FoCPS does not guarantee that colour will wash out
Participants bring personal belongings at their own risk.
FoCPS is not responsible for loss, theft or damage except where required by law.
9. Route and safety
The route may include roads, pavements, fields, rural paths and uneven ground.
Participants must follow all instructions from organisers, marshals, volunteers and first aiders.
Participants must take reasonable care for their own safety and the safety of others.
FoCPS reserves the right to amend the route or stop or remove participants where necessary for safety reasons.
10. Weather and event conditions
Rainbow Run is an outdoor event and is expected to proceed in most weather conditions.
Participants are responsible for weather-appropriate clothing, hydration, personal comfort and wellbeing.
11. Event changes and cancellation
FoCPS reserves the right to amend event details, including timings, route, format or activities.
FoCPS may postpone or cancel the event due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational issues or unforeseen circumstances.
Where possible, participants will be informed as soon as reasonably practicable.
12. Refund policy
Tickets are non-refundable if you choose not to attend or can no longer take part.
If FoCPS cancels the event, ticket holders will be offered a refund or the option to donate the ticket value to FoCPS.
If the event is rescheduled or materially changed, options will be communicated in line with applicable consumer rights.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
13. Photography and media
Photography and video may be taken during the event for use by FoCPS for social media, website, press, publicity and future promotional materials.
By attending, you acknowledge that you and/or your child may appear in media content.
If you do not wish to be included, you must notify organisers in advance and make yourself known on the day.
FoCPS will take reasonable steps but cannot guarantee exclusion from all media.
14. Food, drink and merchandise
Food and refreshments may be available but are not guaranteed.
FoCPS accepts no liability for food-related allergies or reactions.
Participants must take responsibility for their own dietary needs.
Merchandise availability may vary and is not guaranteed.
15. Parking and access
There is no designated event parking.
Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
Participants are encouraged to walk or car share.
FoCPS accepts no responsibility for damage, loss or incidents relating to parking.
16. Volunteers and third parties
The event is supported by volunteers and may involve third-party providers.
FoCPS is not liable for actions of third parties beyond reasonable control, or for interruptions or failures caused by external providers.
17. Fundraising and incentives
Participants may choose to fundraise in support of FoCPS.
Any incentives, such as caps or rewards, are subject to availability, may require verification of funds raised, and may be amended or withdrawn at FoCPS discretion.
18. Liability & Insurance
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FoCPS shall not be liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation, or for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Friends of Coltishall Primary School holds public liability insurance in connection with this event.
This insurance does not remove the responsibility of participants to take part safely and at their own risk, or to consider their own health, fitness and personal circumstances before taking part.
19. Data protection
Personal data will be processed in accordance with the FoCPS Privacy Policy.
Data may be used for event administration, participant communication, safety and operational purposes.
20. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
